

Volunteer for Pride 2017
Volunteering for Exeter Pride is not only a fantastic way to give back to the community but is a great way to meet new friends! Whether you volunteer for a few hours on the day or join us throughout the year, we will find a job that suits you.

Gate Steward:​
To work with security to control alcohol coming into and out of each area, hand out brochures, provide guidance and directions to patrons.
Volunteer Roles
Parade Stewards:
To ensure the parade flows smoothly, at a set pace with no gaps throughout the route. Make as much noise as you can and engage the crowd.

Market place set up:
Assisting stall holders in carrying items into the gardens, locating their pitch and setting up as required.
Stage Hands:
General assistants to acts in and around the stage
Workshop Stewards:
Loading and unloading equipment at the Phoenix, moving tables and chairs into, out of and around to accommodate changes of use.
Stall Custodians:
Responsible for the overall running of 1 of 4 stalls to include money and stock.
Stall assistants:
Assist the stall custodian with selling merchandise and wrist bands, handing out brochures, providing general information and taking some contact details for the future.
Market Place breakdown:
Assist stall holders is closing down stalls and exiting the venue
Park Monitors:
Walk through the gardens checking for rubbish and people are drinking alcohol in only designated areas and have not brought their own.
Volunteer registration:
Register volunteers on arrival and give them their volunteers packs. All volunteers must have attended their safety briefing before they can sign in.
